More Information - David Blackburn
David Blackburn is a native of RIchmond, Virginia and was raised in Orange County,
California, where he was the vice president operations for an office furniture
manufacturer.
David has extensive experience in product design and development, project
management, product launches, training and operational management. He was
honored to accept one of the office furniture industry’s highest awards in product
design , and has created successful product designs and inventions for both office
and kitchen use.
David has special expertise in strategic planning, has directed the construction and
start-up of two manufacturing plants and a corporate headquarters office building.
He has coordinated the comprehensive planning and management of several new
start-up product lines including manufacturing, marketing and business plans and
training guides.
At the age of 38, he decided to take a year off work and has been exploring his
passions now for over eight years. He met his partner three months after what they
now refer to as his retirement, moved to France and has been exploring his love of
cooking, including canning.
David and a friend, Andrea, have a video podcast and share some of their recipes on
